Turkey is surrounded by seas on three sides and its numerous streams, natural and manmade reservoirs, ponds are potential locations for aquaculture and fisheries. Today, it seems that the aquaculture production was approximate 250,000 tons in Turkish waters. The purposes of the program are; to educate person who sustainably can culture, capture, process and market fishes by using the last technologies. Unfortunately, the program was deactivated by YÖK and student registration is closed. We hope that student registration will open by considering the importance of Fisheries Technician after revising the Fisheries Program.
